The State Executive committee meeting of the APUWJ

Amaravathi, 14 June, 2026: The State Executive committee meeting of the APUWJ was held on 14th of June in the State Unions Head office (Press Club) in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The meeting was Presided over by Com I.V.Subba Rao President of the Union. Com K.Jaya Raj, General Secretary of the APUWJ has presented a report on the recent activities of the union including the successful conduct of the IJU 11th Plenary. Com K.Sreenivas Reddy, former President of the IJU and Telengana Media Academy Chairman , Com. Alapati Suresh Kumar, Chairman, C.R. Media Academy of Andhra Pradesh, Com D.Soma Sundar, Secretary General of the IJU spoke on the occasion.

The meeting in a resolution thanked the sponsors , donors, and supporters, those who made the Plenary a grand success.The meeting discussed the problems faced by working journalists in the state and decided to put pressure on the Government through agitations. Meeting has also reviewed the organizational matters and decided to hold district Unit conferences across the State.
