I.V.Subba Rao re-elected as President of the APUWJ

Vijayawada , January 8: Comrade I.V.Subba Rao re-elected as President of the APUWJ. Election result was Declared today in Vijayawada by the State Returning Officer Com D.Soma Sundar. Nomination process for the post of President and State Council members of APUWJ started on 26 th December.

Two sets of Nominations with 51 proposals from 23 districts in favour of I.V. Subba Rao has been submitted to the SRO. There were no other nominations for the post of President. Last date for withdrawals was concluded at 5 PM on 7 th January. As such Com I.V.SubbaRao was declared elected unopposed as President of the APUWJ.

Election result was announced on 8 th at Press Club, Vijayawada by SRO in a special meeting organised for this purpose. Election Declaration certificate was presented to Com I.V.Subba Rao today by SRO. Com K.Sreenivas Reddy , president of the IJU was present on this occasion. Com Suresh Alapati, Com Nalli Dharmarao, members of the NEC, IJU, the APUWJ General Secretary Com Chandu Janardhan, all office bearers , EC members of the union, , presidents , secretaries of the district units of the union attended in a large number. Journalists from all 26 districts have participated in the meeting and congratulated com I.V.Subba Rao on his reelection.
